2025 – Present
The questions that emerged through Encounter remain unresolved. If the photographs taught me anything, it is that trust is not the goal — it is what makes other questions possible.
Increasingly, I return to some of the same people over longer stretches of time. Rather than seeking a decisive moment, I am interested in what changes as I photograph someone again and again — in the relationship, and in the person. Time has become as important to my practice as the camera, and it has shown me that beauty and fragility are inseparable.
Photography remains central, but I now work alongside filmed conversations, notebooks, and audio recordings. These are not separate projects — only different ways of asking how an image can carry what it felt like to share time with someone.
The next phase brings photographs, conversations, and written reflections into a single body of work. It asks what remains visible years after the photographs were made.
The photograph is no longer the final work; it is the visible trace of an encounter — and what time reveals about that encounter may become the work itself.
